On June 17, 2015, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana: Housing for all, in order to train people to obtain the house of their dreams, the honorable Prime Minister announced a comprehensive and progressive mission.
One of the main verticals of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is the linked credit subsidy scheme (CLSS) for the lowest income group / economically weakest section (EWS / LIG) and the middle income group (MIG - I). and II). Under this scheme, the central government provides financial assistance through credit institutions for eligible beneficiaries in all statutory cities according to the 2011 census and its adjacent planning area (updated by the government from time to time)
The interest subsidy is channeled through two central agencies: National Housing Bank (NHB) and Housing & Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO). The top government bodies channel the subsidy to the credit institutions and help the eligible applicants to benefit from the subsidy.
IIFL home loans are approved applications from lenders and loans that meet the eligibility criteria for the CLSS grant and are sent to the National Housing Bank (NHB) for approval. An applicant may have a maximum interest subsidy of up to Rs 2.67 lacs *. The central government grants an interest subsidy that is credited to the loan account of the eligible beneficiary. Therefore, a beneficiary who receives a subsidy of Rs. 2.67 lac * on a loan of Rs. 20 lac for a 20-year loan, at an interest rate of 9.50%, actually obtains a mortgage loan at an effective rate of 7.53%.

IIFL mortgage loans have been helping beneficiaries to take advantage of this subsidy throughout the country.
